No one, BUT Jesus

A cross

Through Christ we succeed.

I remember when I had no one to lean on, BUT Jesus-
I remember when the darkness fell around me and the paths were crooked with doubt, distress, delusion and destruction created with the blood of my fears and feeding of the flesh that surrounds the soul-
I remember when I cried out the people from the pulpits to the pews who provided potential poison to promote my pain and prevent my progress as playing the pal to pillage and pilfer became playful and profiting to the proud psyche-
I remember trying not to vomit my inner man and lap up death mixed with metal shards from the shackles binding my wrists infected of rust and shame for I was destined to fall by side of the road like last weeks McDonalds Big Mac container festered with insects fighting to devour the half eaten confidence that was my own, yet not so much my own, for I relied on the world to give me what it covets-
I remember the smell of hell as the door stood before me and I was tempted therein, while those people who called themselves ‘family’ which they redefined as Foolishly Accepting Mendacities Instantly Like Yummies walked away with laughable excuses and you’re not supposed to ever see the crossed fingers and sharpened daggers waiting to plunge deep into your trust because they want you to believe that tainted blood is thicker than the pure hatred-
I remember when I had no one to lean on, BUT Jesus.

A Killer In Your Fridge ~ Sweet Poison…A MUST READ

I am not a doctor, but I am going to test this. I add sweeteners to my coffee everyday, and used to drink diet sodas thinking I was doing my body a favor, yet I know that I have experienced these symptoms but thought most of this was stress related. If removing this from my diet helps, I will blog my update within the month.

In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain.

By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick she just knew she was dying.

She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter’s name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of.

She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd.

On March 19, I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and…

Expanding our spiritual vocabulary- Commix

The word is commix. Pronounced \kuh-MIKS\. This word is a verb, and is defined as

To mix together; blend.

Used in a sentence: The self-ordained ministries, man-made religions and those that follow them with blind conviction attempt to justify their futile attempts to commix the questionable commitment to the Word of God and the desire for financial gain only with disastrous results.
(Matthew ch.6:v.24)

Focus Point- Circle of darkness

Sometimes you are faced with the circle of darkness.

You can’t see a light nowhere you look, yet in these times you have to be EXTRA CAREFUL on who you share this with. See, many people don’t know HOW to listen; they are too busy with their own issues, or automatically tune out what actually matters and listen for keywords in order to spit scriptures at you without any real clarity or understanding of what is going on with you. This is mostly for them and their egos.
Here’s where it gets ugly: many will say ‘I’m praying for you’ but they’re really not; why should they pray for another when it seems like God ain’t hearing theirs and risk you getting a breakthrough when they’re still in the pits? Survival of the fittest, or just lack of intercession? Who knows. Have I done it? Of course. How do you think I know about it?

Somethig to think about – The aspects of ‘Freedom’

Is this real????

Is this real????

What is Free or freedom? When has there ever been a time of freedom for man? Is it when you do what you WANT or say what you WILL? Is it running in a field of dreams uninhibited by anyone? Is it the lack of shackles on hands or feet? Is it an abundance of money in the bank or eluding capture for crimes yet to be punished? Is it not having to pay, or getting something that is not deserved? Is it not YET reaping when we have sown?
How I see it, man has NEVER been free or enjoyed what is considered to be freedom;in fact, we choose to be bound. As man progresses so does the confinement that we place upon ourselves and those around us. This forever consumes us in our minds and actions; we are constantly told what to do, where to live, how to live, when to live, what to buy, how to act, how to dress, how to think, what to say, what NOT to say, how to walk, where to walk, when walking is legal and when it is not, and IRONICALLY, we DESIRE this control over ourselves in order to establish the illusion of freedom.
Many think that those who are incarcerated are NOT free, yet they are just further bound. The shackles are more apparent than the ones we wear each day that are invisible to the physical eye. This starts at birth; we are shackled by our parents and taught through their own imprisoned thinking that being boundIS freedom.
The cycle is never ending and with each generation, this illusion of freedom is further decreased and the binding of ones outer and inner self increases. The further irony of freedom is that those who have ACTUALLY found it are NEVER IN OUR MIDSTS.

Focus Point: Supporting the Inner House

When building a house, road, skyscraper, or any non-moving, brick and mortar construction, great consideration must go into what will SUPPORT the construction of the building, road, etc…
The SUPPORT is what gives the construction strength, longevity, and thus reinforces its purpose. The SUPPORT must ALWAYS be stronger than the construction as a whole or the construction will fail. The level of endurance must exceed the worth of the construction; even after the construction has been abandoned, the support must hold strong.

With a person and his or her spiritual journey, there can, in cases, be confusion of the construction of the relationship with God as the actual SUPPORT, or in other cases, SUPPORT is forgotten altogether as one becomes eager to construct his or her relationship with Spirit. Do we KNOW where to actually start building or what to build on? do we understand how our surroundings can affect our construction of a relationship with the Father and/or whether we have established the SUPPORT we need to lay the foundations? Do we see the obstacles placed in our way that could subsequently cause our spiritual house to shift, sway and possibly fall without proper SUPPORT???

The parable of the house being built on the rock and on sand gives key information into these factors. First, it shows how we tend to forget the SUPPORT and focus on just trying to build something without TRUE spiritual guidance. We go to church, join and start to get involved with any and everything we can. We look to be recognized by people as being part of the church, being a active member of the church, getting some title in the church, being able to say, ‘I go to such and such church and I am a [insert title here], YET we never really establish a SUPPORTING relationship with God at any real point and time, because we have built on the SUPPORT of the people, or our own egotism.

We thus end up with a building that has NO support, or the foundation dramatically shifts, like it is on sand, and then we fall into the river of confusion, oppression, dysfunction, addiction, suffering, sorrow, anguish and destruction. We then blame God for our failings, and/or leave the church thinking that its the CHURCH’S FAULT that we have NOTHING TO STAND ON when the Enemy shakes the walls of our lives. The shady and incompetent workmanship we have used is the cause of the fall, yet its always easy to blame everything else.

So how do we establish a strong support system with the Father? The ROCK is chosen when we look to God completely. Proverbs ch.3:v.7 tells us ‘in ALL thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path’ all to which connects with Christ and His instructions to follow the teachings that will fortify your relationship thereby establishing the inner house upon the rock. In other words, to join a church is never enough. The true fellowship, worship and praise MUST START WITHIN YOUR INNER HOUSE which sits upon the love, grace, mercy, guidance and Word of God. This is the true SUPPORT.

(Matthew ch.7:vs.21-27)
